Enrolled in Situated Design in 2020

Hola! I am a second year Situated Design student, specialising in editorial design and photography, coming from Spain. My desire to come to the MIVC came as a match between the school´s view on giving a twist to design principles and my intention to stay away from the pure commercial way of seeing design. The ability to work with different media at the same time as reflecting upon the working process was indeed the most interesting part of the two years programme.Politics, identity, collectivity or self-alienation are the topics of my research and work.

Feel free to contact me to recieve more information about Situated Design, and deeper insights about the application process, portfolio building or how to get yourself together in the Netherlands. I can also provide you with insights about how it has been possible to combine graphic design with other practices such as photography, editorial references and other conceptual choices. On a similar note, I offer advice about art direction decisions, production or photographical choices.
