Qualifications

Sarah Lugthart graduated in 2004 from the University of Utrecht (New Media and Digital Culture). After that she got the chance to work for the Association for Film Theatres in Brabant (VBF), which merged in 2009 to become the current Kunstloc Brabant. She organized workshops, film screenings and network meetings.

Teaching

“With Master's students I always feel there is a level playing field. I'm not a professor who is going to tell you how things are; students have just as much to say about the subjects that we discuss as I have. The discourse surrounding animation us still emerging and maturing, and I feel animators -not just academics-have something to add to that.”
