Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Please join us for the opening of "Adrift, A Shift," the 2023 graduate art exhibition presented by the Master Institute of Visual Cultures at Willem Twee.
We are delighted to showcase the culmination of the creative journey undertaken by students from three distinctive pathways: Ecology Futures, Situated Design, and Visual Arts and Post-Contemporary Practice.
This exhibition promises to be a thought-provoking exploration of artistic expression, spanning a diverse range of mediums, including lens-based media, installation, sound, and beyond.
"Adrift, A Shift" represents a convergence of diverse artistic visions, offering a humble exploration of contemporary issues and ideas. Each artist and designer brings a unique perspective, enriching the exhibition with a tapestry of concepts, techniques, and interpretations. As you journey through the exhibition, we hope you'll find moments of reflection, sparking conversations and personal connections to the artworks and the world we inhabit.
The opening reception aims to provide you with a truly immersive experience, where you can engage with not only the works, but also the artists and designers. We invite you to become an active participant in the creative process, as you explore and connect with the thought-provoking pieces on display.
We warmly extend an invitation for you to join us on June 29th from 14:00 to 18:00 as we unveil this exhibition to the public. The event is intended to be a celebration of creativity, where artists, enthusiasts, and the community come together to celebrate the culmination of two years of practice-led research.
Following the opening reception, the exhibition will be open to the public from June 29th to July 6th.
We invite you to visit the exhibition at your convenience, from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 and 17:30, and on Saturday and Sunday, from 11:00 to 17:00.
We sincerely hope you can join us for "Adrift, A Shift" at Willem Twee, Boschdijkstraat 100, 5211 VD 's-Hertogenbosch !
